Gongfu Tea & Tea Art — Hands-On Session

This small-group workshop introduces the fundamentals of Gongfu tea through guided practice and focused discussion. Designed for a maximum of 6 participants, the session allows for close interaction, individual feedback, and a more precise understanding of technique.
The experience is structured in four parts:
Enning Z introduces Gongfu tea through the lens of stage and flow—how movement, sequencing, and setup shape the brewing experience.
Edward Q demonstrates Tie Guan Yin, focusing on aroma expression, infusion control, and leaf handling.
Guided group practice on Gongfu black tea and Wuyi rock tea, with both Enning and Edward working closely with participants.
A brewing performance by Enning featuring ripe Pu’er, highlighting rhythm, control, and presentation.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own gaiwan. Time will be set aside to go through teaware anatomy and practical handling, helping you better understand and use your own setup.
Each guest will receive a $15 gift and three tea samples selected by Edward to continue practicing at home.
No prior experience is required.
